| コメント | 半円や三角など幾何学的な形を配置し、クレヨンで色付けた作品。法則性のある形と、法則性のない配色の組み合わせが絶妙なバランスを生み、黒く引かれた輪郭線が形の内側を描く色に混じって深みを得ている点も作品の魅力。同様な作風を数多く制作しており、最初期のものには「風車」「糸」と書かれたものがあり、着想のありかを示している。松田はこの他にも文章による表現や織物による表現、「プーすけ」「プーたろ」というオリジナルのキャラクターが登場するなど、表現の引き出しが非常に多い。今後の調査に期待したい作家のひとりである。（水田美世） |
| comment | Matsuda created this geometric pattern by arranging shapes like triangles and half circles. She then used crayons to add color. The regular shapes and odd color combinations create balance. The black outlines draw you into the depths of the colorful shapes. Matsuda has created many similar works. Some of her earlier works include “Windmill" and “Thread." She likes to work in various mediums, including textiles and character creation. “Pusuke" and “Putaro " are two of her original characters.
